John Cosgrove
BHSc Physiotherapy, Cert. Dry Needling, Cert. Myofascial Release
With over 14 years of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, John takes a personalised, movement-focused approach to rehab and performance, incorporating personalized, goal-oriented rehab programs, dry needling, education and a holistic approach to each individual.
After building and running two physiotherapy clinics on Auckland’s North Shore, he is excited to bring quality and affordable physio to the Kaikohe and Mid-North community. John founded Cloudbreak Physio with a simple philosophy: understand the individual, tailor the rehab to their goals, and help them become independent as quickly as possible.
John’s background in competitive longboard surfing, swimming, surf lifesaving and open water swimming continues to shape his passion for movement, strength and long-term performance — both in sport and everyday life.
